Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts; 36 or 48 hours per week available. On-call required as needed based on workload. Weekend requirement of 4 shifts within a 6-week timeframe.

Highlights:

• Work in a large respiratory care department practicing at the top of their license across Med/Surg, ICU Step-Down, and Emergency Department settings
• Treat diverse patient population from adolescents to geriatrics, including large COPD population and critical COVID patients requiring proning
• Daily patient volume of 35-45 patients per day with advanced ventilator management including Servo I, Servo U, Hamilton T1, and V60 systems
• Epic charting system experience required; comprehensive orientation program includes day and night shift training
• 13-week assignment available with potential for 36 or 48-hour weekly schedules
• Float within facility only; no external facility floating required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory care experience required
• Active North Carolina or Compact State license
• RRT credentials (CRT will not be accepted)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Work setting experience in ER, Adult ICU, Med/Surg, and ICU/Stepdown required
• Proficiency in airway management, medication administration, vent management, ABGs, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer treatments, BiPAP, CPAP, vest therapy, meta-neb, PAP therapy, and heated high-flow oxygen
• Bronchoscopy experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
