Job Opportunity – Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Specialist – North Carolina

Start Date: June 22, 2026

Location: Huntersville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM). Call requirement includes 8 weekdays and 2 weekends per 6-week period. Weekend coverage required (2 weekends per 6-week period). Patient ratios: Days 1:4-6, Nights/Weekends 1:3.

Highlights:

• Comprehensive procedural experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology
• Work with advanced technology including EKOS, CSI, Penumbra, and Siemens Artis x-ray systems
• Utilize EPIC and Mac Lab charting systems with Pyxis medication management
• 13-week assignment with up to 7 days pre-approved time off (excluding holidays)
• Scrubs provided; interdisciplinary support from respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Adult and geriatric patient population with diverse case mix including STEMI, peripheral vascular, and EP procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Must have Level 3 or 4 scrub procedure experience AND be able to circulate
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience required: Balloon Angioplasty, Stents, Thrombectomy, Filter Placement, Pacemaker/Defibrillator device placement, Left and Right heart catheterization
• Interventional Radiology experience required: Stents, Angioplasty, Peripherals, Upper and Lower Extremity procedures, Vascular Studies, Hemodynamic Monitoring
• Electrophysiology experience required: Cardioversion, Pacemaker Insertion
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and RCIS required
• Special equipment experience: EKOS and CSI required
• EPIC and Mac Lab system experience required
• NC or Compact license required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Must be flexible to float as needed to nearby locations
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
