Description
Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week available; every other weekend required
Highlights:
- Specialty focus on renal and limb preservation patients in a 41-bed telemetry unit
- Patient population includes ESRD, ARF, vascular procedures, CHF, diabetics, and diabetic foot ulcer patients
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6 on night shift
- Self-scheduling system based on unit needs with float capability
- 13-week contract with 24 hours of orientation including EMR education
- Epic charting system with Pyxis and SBAR protocols
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience
- Current RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)
- BCLS (BLS) certification required
- ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications preferred
- Telemetry experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
- Experience with Epic charting preferred
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
