Location: Charleston, West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Choice of 4x10-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM) or 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) with rotating weekday and weekend on-call duties. Self-scheduled call rotation. 40 guaranteed hours per week.

• Work in a 30-bed Operating Room unit serving adult patients at a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital
• Utilize advanced surgical technologies including Da Vinci Si and Xi Robotic Surgical Systems
• Specialize in Robotics, Urology, and Thoracic procedures with opportunity for General OR cases
• Chart using Cerner EMR system
• Free parking provided for travelers
• Credentialing process takes 30–60 days; candidates must be available for start dates 30–60 days out

Requirements:

• Active West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license acceptable for submission; active license required at start)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• RNFA certification with expertise in Robotics, Urology, and Thoracic surgery
• BLS certification through American Heart Association
• Travel nursing experience preferred; no first-time travelers accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• Minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Flu vaccination required during flu season (October 1 – March 31) unless medical exemption documented; COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Previous permanent employees must wait 2 years after last day worked before returning as a traveler
