Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular OR Specialty Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: June 1, 2026

Location: Augusta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time position with weekday, weekend, and holiday call required. Functions as circulator or surgical tech during peak surgery hours.

Highlights:

  • Cardiovascular OR specialty position with expanded scope and autonomy
  • Delivers patient care in complex, urgent, emergent, and life-saving surgical situations
  • Coordinates surgical suite activities and directs surgical teams during critical cases
  • Participates in staff development and professional growth initiatives
  • Serves as role model and team leader within the perioperative environment
  • May include charge nurse responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of Georgia (or ability to obtain)
  • Cardiovascular OR specialty nursing experience required
  • Demonstrated competency in circulating and/or surgical tech roles
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong leadership and critical thinking skills in high-acuity surgical environments
  • Ability to provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan
