Description
Start Date: May 4, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends, 13-week contract, no call required
Highlights:
- 24-bed postpartum unit with patient ratios of 3:1 to 4:1, occasionally 2:1 based on acuity
- Work alongside an experienced team of 26 nursing professionals in a collaborative environment
- EMR systems: Meditech and CPN
- Procedures include non-stress tests, hyperemesis management, insulin drips, magnesium administration, and heparin drips
- 13-week contract with immediate start date
- Professional dress code: navy blue scrubs
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas
- Current BLS certification required
- Previous labor and delivery or antepartum experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills essential
