Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; weekend and rotating holiday coverage required

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit serving adult and geriatric populations with all-system diagnoses
• Patient ratio of 1:3 on a 39-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support
• Epic EMR system; dedicated telemetry monitoring on the unit
• Extensive clinical exposure: heparin and insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis, chest tubes, and wound vac management
• 13-week assignment with one block of pre-approved time off available
• Float rotation to equivalent or lower acuity units within the organization as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 3 years of Medical-Surgical experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrated competency in IV starts and telemetry interpretation
• Epic charting experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or charge nurse
