Description
Start Date: June 22, 2026
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) with flexible weekdays; 12-hour shifts available
Highlights:
- 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit with manageable patient ratios (5-6:1 days; 6:1 nights)
- Supported staffing model with unit secretaries and 2-3 PCTs per shift
- Meditech EMR system with modern equipment including virtual sitter technology and remote telemetry
- Minimal floating – primarily within Medical-Surgical units when needed
- Collaborative team environment focused on patient experience and evidence-based care
- Multiple positions available for qualified candidates
Requirements:
- Active Tennessee RN license or compact state eligibility
- BLS certification required
- NIH and CPI certifications preferred
- Strong assessment skills and experience with IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
- Proficiency in IV and Foley catheter placement
- Commitment to bedside shift report (BSSR) and hourly rounding standards
