Location: Brownsville, Texas

Schedule: Block scheduling is mandatory. Day and night shift available. Work in a small, collaborative team environment with 2 RNs, 1 ED Physician, and 1 Radiology Tech per shift.

• Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) with 11-bed unit serving diverse patient populations

• Meditech EMR system with point-of-care testing
• Opportunity for cross-training; may float to additional FSED or main campus ED locations
• 13-week contract with dedicated, patient-centered care focus
• Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications required
• Strong ED clinical judgment, critical thinking, and TRIAGE skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team
• Proficiency in phlebotomy, wound care, airway management, cardiac monitoring, and code response
• Previous FSED experience and Meditech knowledge preferred
