Description
Start Date: June 15, 2026 (subject to change based on orientation scheduling)
Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm, Friday 7:45am-1:00pm (no weekends, no call, no float requirements)
Highlights:
- Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic specializing in high-risk pregnancy ultrasound imaging
- Average of 10-12 patient scans per day including full anatomical surveys, growth assessments, follow-ups, and Dopplers
- State-of-the-art equipment including Samsung HR 9 ultrasound machines and Trophon probe cleaning system
- Epic and ASOB documentation systems in a well-equipped clinic with 6 ultrasound rooms
- 13-week assignment with 40 hours of comprehensive orientation and ongoing support from experienced sonography team
- Collaborative clinic environment with 2 physicians, 3 sonographers, and dedicated support staff
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound sonography experience required
- Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
- ARDMS OB/GYN certification and current BLS certification required
- Extensive maternal fetal medicine experience including first through third trimester scanning
- Proficiency in fetal anatomical assessment including abdomen, head, heart, cerebellum, ventricles, bone lengths, and detailed organ visualization
- OB/GYN skills including amniotic fluid index, multiple pregnancy, placenta previa, and umbilical cord Doppler
- Competency in amniocentesis procedures and cervical length/vaginal scanning required
- Experience with Epic charting system required
- North Carolina or Compact state license required at time of start
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
