Description
Start Date: July 6, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 AM start time; weekends required; no block scheduling
Highlights:
- Neuro step down unit specializing in acute neurological patient care
- EPIC electronic medical records system in use
- Opportunity to work with complex neuro cases requiring NIHSS assessment
- Collaborative environment with comprehensive interview process
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
Requirements:
- Active RN license verified through Nursys
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification current
- Minimum 2 years of neuro step down experience preferred
- Strong med/surg background with step down experience may be considered with NIHSS and ACLS
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Complete work history with no gaps exceeding 60 days
- Professional references and current certification documentation
