Job Opportunity – Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: June 29, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend coverage. No on-call required. Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2. Orientation includes 36 hours of facility-specific training.

• Epic charting system with robust interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Advanced critical care environment with hemodynamic monitoring, hypothermia protocols, and complex cardiac interventions
• Float opportunities within the health system to expand clinical expertise
• Pre-approved time off available with advance planning

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only)
• Proficiency with Epic documentation system mandatory
• Competency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management
• Experience with arterial lines, central lines, vasoactive drips, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia management
• Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references, including at least one manager or director-level reference
• Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
