Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – California

Start Date: June 16, 2026

Location: Orange, California

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM). No weekends or holidays required. Optional on-call opportunities available for interested candidates.

Highlights:

  • Work in a 426-bed Magnet-designated acute care facility with a strong reputation for clinical excellence
  • Perform general nuclear medicine studies, including PET/CT scans with on-site training available
  • Daily patient volume of 5-10 patients, up to 15 PET scans per day
  • Epic charting system with interpretation services support
  • Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday coverage required
  • Free parking available

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
  • Active California state license (must be in hand prior to start)
  • NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • PET scan experience preferred; on-site training available for qualified candidates
  • Cardiac imaging experience preferred, especially for those interested in optional call shifts
  • Previous travel experience required; must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
  • Ability to start and maintain IVs
