Location: Charleston, West Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; weekdays with every other weekend; 36 or 48 hour contract options available

Highlights:

• 29-bed unit specializing in adult medical-surgical and oncology care, including palliative care, urology, and telemetry patients
• Patient ratios: 4-5:1 days, 5-6:1 nights
• Opportunity to work at a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital with 838 staffed beds
• Cerner charting system; IV team support available
• Chemotherapy administration preferred but not required; facility will consider strong candidates without oncology experience
• Flexible blocked schedule requests can be accommodated

Requirements:

• Active West Virginia or Compact RN License (pending license acceptable at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• BLS certification via American Heart Association; ONS/ONCC certification required
• Strong skills in telemetry, central line draws, ports, blood administration, PCA pumps, bone marrow aspiration assistance, and Pleurx chest tube management
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from facility (75-99 miles considered case-by-case)
• Minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Flu vaccination required during flu season (October 1 - March 31) unless medically exempted; COVID-19 vaccination not required
