Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; weekdays with every other weekend; 36 or 48 hour per week contract options available

Highlights:

• 29-bed unit serving adult medical and surgical patients with oncology, palliative care, urology, and telemetry needs
• Patient ratio of 4-5:1 during day shifts in a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital
• Cerner EMR system with support from IV teams and interdisciplinary staff
• Facility will consider strong candidates without oncology experience; chemotherapy administration experience preferred but not required
• Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests; 36 hours per week guaranteed
• 13-week contract with every other weekend requirement; limited holiday requests to no more than 1 of 3 major holidays

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license acceptable at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification and ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, central line draws, ports, blood administration, and PCA pumps
• Proficiency with chest tube care, bone marrow aspiration assistance, and related oncology procedures
• Two professional references from managers or charge nurses within the past 2 years
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• Flu vaccination required during flu season (October 1 - March 31) unless medical exemption documented
