Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Every other weekend; holidays per rotation; minimal on-call requirements

Highlights:

• 15-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit with manageable patient ratios of 5:1, maximum 6:1
• Day and night shifts available with dedicated charge nurse support and full care team
• Electronic medical record system includes Meditech and Pyxis for streamlined documentation
• Work with a collaborative team focused on patient mobility, functional improvement, and recovery outcomes
• Exposure to diverse patient populations with opportunities to float to Med-Surg, Tele, Renal, Urology, and Orthopedic units
• Comprehensive orientation to rehab scoring documentation and specialized transfer training

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and medication dispensing systems
• Competency in safe patient transfer techniques
• Rehabilitation nursing experience preferred; rehab scoring documentation experience is a plus
• Strong teamwork skills and proactive, self-motivated approach to patient care
