Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum Nurse (LDRP) – North Carolina

Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Jefferson, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 or 48 hours per week

• Low-volume unit with approximately 100 births annually, featuring higher acuity and high-risk cases
• Patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 allowing for focused, individualized care

• Charting systems: Centricity and Meditech Magic
• May assist in other areas including MedSurg, CNA duties, or unit support roles as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery or LDRP nursing experience
• Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license (required by start date)
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN (Intermediate or Advanced), and Fetal Heart Monitoring
• Stable certification preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a low-volume, high-acuity setting
• Flexibility to float to other units based on facility needs
• Willingness to work weekend shifts and 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
