Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), with on-call requirement of 3 shifts per 6-week period

Highlights:

• Community hospital setting providing respiratory care across all patient populations including Emergency Department, Critical Care ICU, and medical/surgical floors
• 50-60% of daily caseload involves NICU and PICU patients – specialized pediatric and neonatal experience essential
• Work with Epic charting system in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment
• 13-week contract with 24-30 hours of orientation provided
• Diverse scope of practice including ventilator/NIV management, arterial blood gases, airway management, and advanced respiratory therapies
• First-time travelers welcome; floating to pediatric units and floors as needed

Requirements:

• Current North Carolina or Compact state RRT license required in hand at start
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Neonatal and pediatric experience mandatory; NICU and PICU experience highly preferred
• Pediatric Emergency Department experience strongly desired
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT required; NPS preferred
• Proficiency in airway management, medication administration, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, bronchoscopes, nebulizers, BiPAP, and CPAP
• Labor and Delivery experience is a plus
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
