Location: Morgantown, West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, including weekdays and weekends

Highlights:

• 34-bed acute medical-surgical unit with diverse patient diagnoses and care needs
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5-7
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• Cerner EMR system in use
• Daily census of 25-30 patients on a fast-paced, dynamic unit
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Current West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license acceptable)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system
• Two manager or charge nurse references from within the past two years
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (case-by-case consideration between 75-100 miles)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Reliable attendance is essential; facility maintains strict attendance expectations
