Description
Start Date: May 4, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day shift, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM; 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
Highlights:
- Work in a dynamic Pre-Op Holding and Phase 2 Recovery unit with 9 pre-op beds and 5 recovery beds
- Diverse case mix including Urology, GYN, Endoscopy, Cath Lab, EP, and outpatient procedures
- Utilize Meditech EMR and modern equipment including Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machines, and bladder scanners
- Join an experienced team of full-time, part-time, and PRN nursing professionals
- Travel nursing assignment with competitive day shift hours
- 30-minute on-call response time requirement from facility location
Requirements:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Phase 2 recovery experience (required)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Pre-op experience or ability to support pre-op staff (preferred)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
