Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM; 1:3 patient ratio; on-call required with 30-minute response time

Highlights:

• Pre-Op Holding and Ambulatory Surgery Unit with 9 pre-op beds and 5 Phase 2 recovery beds
• Diverse case mix including surgical prep, endoscopy, cath lab, EP, CT patients, outpatient infusions, EKGs, nerve blocks, and blood transfusions
• Phase 2 recoveries for Urology, GYN, and same-day surgery patients
• Meditech EMR system with modern equipment including Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machines, and bladder scanners
• Collaborative team environment with experienced full-time, part-time, and PRN staff
• Travel RN assignment with competitive market compensation

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Pre-Op RN hospital experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Preferred: Pre-op or ambulatory surgery experience
• Preferred: Prior Meditech EMR experience
