Job Opportunity – Pediatric Emergency Registered Nurse – Washington, DC

Start Date: May 18, 2026
Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Multiple positions available – Two positions for 3x12 day shifts; One position for 3x12 rotating shifts

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
  • Active District of Columbia RN license required
  • TNCC, NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Two years full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care setting
  • Recent pediatric emergency department experience required
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from facility location
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
  • Demonstrated commitment to long-term employment (minimum two-year track record)
