Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist – South Florida

Start Date: June 22, 2026

Location: Loxahatchee, Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift staffing model with director-led team of 2-3 RRTs; night shift on-call coverage varies based on patient volume. Typical patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1.

Highlights:

• 12-bed respiratory care unit within a 204-bed acute care medical/surgical facility
• Specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, and bariatrics
• Work with standard respiratory equipment including oxygen delivery systems, nebulizers, suction machines, and CPAP/BiPAP devices
• Meditech EMR system in use facility-wide
• Collaborative, close-knit team environment with strong physician partnerships
• Fast-paced, patient-centered care setting

Requirements:

• Active Florida RRT licensure
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience
• Stroke education and experience preferred
• NRP certification preferred
• Previous Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred
