Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN – Ohio

Start Date: June 29, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 2x8-hour and 2x12-hour shifts per week; flexible scheduling between 6:30 AM and 11:00 PM with call coverage; weekday call begins at 7:00 PM; weekend call divided into 12-hour blocks

Highlights:

• Work in a specialized cardiovascular, vascular, and transplant operating room environment at a Level I Trauma facility
• Diverse case mix including CABG, valve replacements, aortic aneurysm repairs, transplants, endovascular procedures (TAVR, TEVAR, EVAR), and more
• EPIC charting system utilized throughout facility
• 7-bed/7-room cardiovascular surgical unit focused on advanced heart and vascular interventions
• Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology including hybrid OR capabilities and robotic-assisted surgical systems
• Call hours distributed equitably among staff on a rotating 4-week schedule

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at submission)
• Minimum 3 years overall OR experience
• Minimum 2 years dedicated cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience
• Minimum 1 year CVOR experience required
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Proficiency in general OR, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
