Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cath Lab – Florida

Start Date: July 6, 2026
Location: Port Saint Lucie, Florida
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, 3x12 shifts; on-call requirement for evenings and weekends

Highlights:

• Work with advanced cardiac technology including balloon pump, Impella, and atherectomy devices
• STEMI experience required; high-acuity interventional cardiology procedures
• Manage cardiac medication drips, emergency medications, and interpret dysrhythmias
• Experience with vascular closure systems, sheath removal/monitoring, and angioplasty procedures
• First-time travelers welcome; locals accepted at same rate
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months RN experience required; 2 years preferred
• Current AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Active, unencumbered RN license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Proficiency with interventional radiology, angioplasty, carotid stenting, and upper/lower extremity angiography
• Experience with charting systems required
• Skills in pressure ulcer assessment/prevention, radiation and laser safety, and Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine/cotinine test required; nicotine-free facility
• Two professional references from direct supervisor, manager, or director required
• Must pass EKG and pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
