Job Opportunity – OB/Labor & Delivery Nurse – Oklahoma

Start Date: June 29, 2026
Location: Tahlequah, Oklahoma
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Varied shifts with cross-coverage across Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, Newborn Nursery, Couplet Care, and Gynecology Surgery patients; flexible cancellation policy (one shift every other week)

Highlights:

• Low-volume, family-centered birthing environment averaging 15–17 births per month
• Cross-trained role encompassing L&D, Mother Baby, Newborn Nursery, Couplet Care, and Gynecology Surgery
• Collaborative team structure working alongside LPNs with RN oversight and clinical validation
• Supportive resources including Transfer Coordinator and house supervisor backup for emergency situations
• Occasional float to Med/Surg unit with flexibility based on comfort level and patient census
• Small, creative, and close-knit unit with excellent support and teamwork

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required
• Experience in Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby nursing preferred
