Description
Start Date: July 6, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week | Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Nurse-to-patient ratio 1:4 | 16-bed Intermediate Care Unit
Highlights:
- Work in a high-acuity Intermediate Care Unit with a diverse patient population
- Manageable 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio supporting quality care delivery
- Flexibility to choose between 36-hour or 48-hour weekly contract options
- Gain experience managing complex medical conditions including sepsis, heart failure, respiratory failure, and more
- Hands-on experience with critical drips including heparin protocols
- Immediate start date available for qualified candidates
Requirements:
- Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact state license
- Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU, ICU, or Step-Down nursing experience
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Experience managing patients with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy
- Proficiency with heparin drip protocols and titration
