Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Step Down Unit – Georgia

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week. Unit maintains 16-20 beds with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.

• Diverse case mix including Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy
• Manageable patient ratio supporting quality care delivery
• Contract-based assignment with flexible weekly hour options

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Step Down or Progressive Care Unit
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience managing medically complex patients across multiple specialties
