Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Bone Marrow Transplant / Hematology Oncology – Ohio

Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts OR 12-hour night shifts; scheduling reviewed every 4 weeks based on departmental needs

Highlights:

• Specialized 36-bed bone marrow transplant and hematology oncology unit with mixed acuity progressive care and medical-surgical patients
• Work with complex patient populations including ALL, AML, multiple myeloma, lymphomas, and myelodysplastic syndromes
• Exposure to advanced therapies including autologous, allogeneic, and syngeneic transplants plus CAR-T therapy
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• 72-hour orientation period to support successful onboarding
• Daily census of 33 patients with robust telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of current inpatient hematology oncology experience
• Medical-surgical and inpatient hematology oncology experience required; BMT experience strongly preferred
• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• BLS certification (current)
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Demonstrated competency in telemetry monitoring, central line management, chemotherapy administration, blood product administration, and port care
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or formal leadership role
