Description
Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week contract
Highlights:
- Medical Step-Down Unit with 16–20 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
- Diverse case mix including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, diabetes management, substance abuse, status epilepticus, and encephalopathy
- Acute care environment providing critical support to complex medical patients
- Opportunity to apply advanced clinical skills in a fast-paced setting
Requirements:
- Active Georgia RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- Medical step-down or progressive care experience strongly preferred
