Job Opportunity – Postpartum Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: June 29, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with weekend coverage required; patient ratio of 3-4 dyads (6-8 patients) per shift

Highlights:

• 40-bed inpatient postpartum unit providing family-centered care to mothers and newborns
• Comprehensive case mix including vaginal and cesarean deliveries, healthy newborns, and NAS infants
• EPIC charting system with 36 hours of orientation provided
• Robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, rapid response, and interpretation services
• 13-week travel assignment with two pre-approved time-off requests
• Float opportunities to units of similar acuity as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of postpartum nursing experience required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Proficient IV start skills and labor & delivery experience
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Must pass EKG/telemetry interpretation exam prior to start date
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager or director)
• Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
