Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total), rotating between day shift (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Day/night rotation every 4 weeks with every other weekend coverage required. Final schedule details confirmed during interview.

Highlights:

• Patient ratio estimated at 1:1 or 1:2 in a dedicated Neuro ICU environment
• Complex case mix including stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizures, neuromuscular diseases, and post-operative neurosurgery patients
• Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Hands-on experience with advanced neuro monitoring including ICP monitoring, EVD management, and EEG monitoring
• Exposure to bedside procedures such as tracheostomy, PEG tube placement, and central/arterial line insertions
• Floating required to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of application)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
• Proficiency in IV insertion, telemetry interpretation, ventilator management, and intracranial pressure monitoring
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or charge nurse)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract acceptance
