Job Opportunity – Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Specialist – North Carolina

Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Huntersville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week; includes call coverage (8 weekdays and 2 weekends per 6-week period) and weekend rotation (2 per 6-week period)

Highlights:

• Dual-specialty role combining cardiac cath lab, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology procedures
• 13-week contract with up to 7 days pre-approved time off
• Work with advanced technology including EKOS, CSI, Clotriever, Hawk One, and Siemens Artis x-ray systems
• Patient ratios of 1:4-6 on days and 1:3 on nights/weekends
• Epic and Mac Lab charting systems with self-scheduling balanced by unit
• Scrubs provided; comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Active ACLS, BLS, and RCIS certifications required
• Proficiency in scrub procedures (must demonstrate level 3 or 4 competency) AND ability to circulate
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience: balloon angioplasty, stents, thrombectomy, filter placement, pacemaker/defibrillator device placement, left and right heart catheterization
• Interventional Radiology experience: stents, angioplasty, peripherals, upper and lower extremity procedures, vascular studies, hemodynamic monitoring
• Electrophysiology experience: cardioversion and pacemaker insertion
• Required equipment experience: EKOS and CSI systems
• Epic and Mac Lab system proficiency required; must pass EKG testing prior to start
• North Carolina or Compact state license (pending acceptable at submission)
• Flexibility to float as needed within the facility and to nearby locations when required
