Why It's a Great Opportunity:
This is a unique chance to be part of launching a specialized palliative care unit dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for patients facing serious illness. You'll work within a supportive interdisciplinary team environment while developing advanced symptom management skills and gaining exposure to diverse patient populations through floating opportunities. This role offers the perfect blend of focused palliative care expertise and broad med-surg experience, making a meaningful difference in patients' quality of life during their most challenging times.
Note: Travelers starting before the unit opens on July 8 will float to inpatient units during initial training, providing valuable exposure to the various patient populations the palliative care unit will serve. Ohio fingerprinting requirements must be completed immediately upon contract signing. Strict compliance deadlines apply.

Pros
Units are nice, staff are kind. Single patient rooms with 4:1 ratios day and night on med surg.
Cons
Scheduled every weekend, floated for the first 6 weeks of contract every shift. Not traveler friendly even though they say they are. Staff are treated well not travelers.
