Description
Start Date: June 8, 2026
Location: Denver, Colorado
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Patient ratio 3-4:1
Highlights:
- 18-bed Blood Cancer Unit specializing in acute hematology and oncology patient care
- Award-winning unit recognized nationally for excellence in quality measures and evidence-based practice
- Primary nursing model with a strong team-based culture focused on nurse-driven interventions
- EMR system: Meditech | Equipment includes telemetry, bladder scanners, Alaris pumps and PCA
- Exposure to specialized procedures including lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies with conscious sedation, and thoracentesis
- Travel RN assignment with opportunities to work alongside experienced, dedicated oncology nursing staff
Requirements:
- Current RN license in Colorado or compact state
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience in either Medical/Surgical or Oncology nursing
- Preferred: Chemo and biotherapy certification
- Preferred: Step-down or acute care experience with standing orders and high-acuity patient populations
- Must demonstrate compassion for oncology patients and chronically ill populations
