Job Opportunity – Medical Laboratory Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist – Georgia

Start Date: June 8, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 13-week assignment

Highlights:

• Large, high-volume hospital laboratory environment (600+ beds) with fast-paced operations
• Hands-on experience with Sysmex and CellaVision systems required
• Critical role performing differentials in support of large neonatal units
• Exposure to complex sample types including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings
• Cerner EMR system in use
• Minimum 2 years of recent specialty experience required

Requirements:

• Active certification: ASCP, AMT, or AAB
• Must hold Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) credential
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in medical laboratory science
• Demonstrated proficiency with Sysmex and CellaVision instrumentation
• Experience in a large hospital laboratory setting (600+ beds preferred)
• Strong competency performing manual differentials and managing complex hematology specimens
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
