Job Opportunity – Cardiac Sonographer – Ohio

Start Date: June 29, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Flexible options available: 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or 5x8 hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday coverage (8:00 AM - 1:00 PM, approximately 2-3 Saturdays per 13-week contract)

Highlights:

• Diverse case mix including portable exams, inpatient unit studies, and outpatient cardiology procedures with varying levels of acuity
• Work with state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment including Philips, GE, and Siemens systems
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics across multiple medical specialties
• 13-week travel contract with up to two pre-approved time-off requests

Requirements:

• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI-RCS credential required (one of these certifications must be held)
• Minimum 5 years of cardiac sonography experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor
• Ohio fingerprinting must be completed promptly upon contract signing
