Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Technologist – Virginia

Start Date: May 25, 2026

Location: Richmond, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift with on-call coverage required for after-hours weekdays (6:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and 24-hour weekend rotation

Highlights:

• Work in a dynamic Interventional Radiology department with state-of-the-art Phillips Biplane equipment
• Perform a diverse range of procedures including PICC lines, central lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, embolizations, filter placements, neuro interventions, and biopsies
• Join a fully staffed collaborative team of 5 RNs, 4 technologists, and 1 PCT on day shift
• Utilize Meditech EMR system for streamlined documentation and patient care coordination
• 4 dedicated holding spaces for efficient patient flow and quality care delivery

Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted RT-R (Radiologic Technologist – Radiography) certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Active Interventional Radiology experience required
• Neuro IR experience strongly preferred
• Ability to multi-task effectively and adapt quickly to changing clinical situations
