Location: Dothan, Alabama

Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 Days, 0700-1930; Block scheduling may be accommodated

Highlights:

• Primary orthopedic unit with medical-surgical and telemetry overflow patients
• Patient ratio of 1:6 to 1:7 with interdisciplinary team support including rapid response, pharmacy, and lift teams
• 42-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must be proficient in cardiac drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• Flexible scheduling options with potential for block scheduling
• First-time travelers are welcome with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Active Alabama RN license required at time of submission (pending license acceptable)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS preferred
• Proficiency in cardiac drip management: Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Experience working in large healthcare facilities
• Permanent address must be at least 90 miles from the facility
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
