Description
Start Date: June 30, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3–4 couplets per RN | Flexible scheduling available
Highlights:
- Seasonal travel assignment in a high-volume postpartum unit delivering 400–500 babies per month
- Work with a close-knit, collaborative team of nurses and patient care technicians
- Specializes in high-risk postpartum care with advanced clinical exposure
- 29-bed unit utilizing Meditech and CPN EMR systems
- Equipment includes Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, and POC glucose monitoring
- Flexible scheduling with supportive leadership
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care postpartum hospital experience required
- Active RN license in Kansas or compact state eligibility
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- High-risk postpartum experience preferred
- Level 2 Nursery experience a plus
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented approach
