Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Neuro Step-Down) – Georgia

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day shift (7:00 AM start time); weekend rotation required

Highlights:

• Neuro step-down unit with a focus on neurological patient populations
• NIHSS certification required and actively utilized in clinical practice
• EPIC electronic medical record system in use
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty area required
• Manager-led interview and offer process
• Standard rotating schedule; block scheduling not available

Requirements:

• Active RN license with verification via Nursys
• NIHSS certification (must be documented in clinical portfolio)
• ACLS certification current and valid
• Minimum 2 years neuro step-down experience required
• Strong med/surg background with step-down experience may be considered with NIHSS and ACLS
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• Complete work history with gaps no greater than 60 days, skills checklist, references, and certification documentation required for submission
