Location: Alexandria, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, full-time, every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Mixed cardiac and medical ICU with diverse patient population including DKA, acute respiratory failure, MIs, CABGs, and ventilator-dependent patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 for ICU patients and 4:1 for IMCU patients
• Advanced technology experience including Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impellas, and CRRT
• Post-operative cardiovascular surgery patient care
• No floating requirement; no on-call duties
• Multiple positions available with potential temp-to-perm opportunity

Requirements:

• Active RN License in Virginia or compact state
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• One year of Critical Care experience preferred; new graduates will be considered
• Experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impellas, post-op cardiovascular surgeries, and CRRT strongly preferred
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
