Job Opportunity – PACU Registered Nurse – California

Start Date: June 16, 2026
Location: Fullerton, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, 2:1 patient ratio, no on-call or weekend requirements

Highlights:

• Work in a 320-bed acute care hospital with a well-established 17-bed PACU unit
• Diverse case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, cardiovascular, vascular, plastic surgery, ENT, thoracic, and GI procedures
• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call coverage required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy
• Electronic charting system (Meditech) with 12 hours of paid orientation
• Free parking provided at the facility

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required; first-time travelers must have 3+ years of PACU experience
• Well-rounded experience across all types of surgical procedures
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Experience with Phase I and Phase II recovery care
• Proficiency in airway management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia recognition
• Ability to care for all patient age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
