Job Opportunity – Radiation Therapist – Virginia

Start Date: June 8, 2026
Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm or 10:00am–6:30pm (varies with patient load); no weekends; every other holiday

Highlights:

  • Ambulatory radiation oncology clinic setting serving diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • ARIA charting system required; Epic experience also utilized
  • Work with advanced TrueBeam technology in a state-of-the-art treatment environment
  • May float between two clinic locations approximately two miles apart
  • Up to 40 hours of approved time off available during assignment
  • 13-week contract with comprehensive orientation and ongoing support

Requirements:

  • Active Virginia license required (temporary licensure available for candidates licensed in another state)
  • ARRT(T) Radiation Therapy certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of radiation therapy experience
  • ARIA charting system experience required
  • TrueBeam platform experience strongly preferred
  • Inpatient hospital experience preferred; outpatient radiation oncology center experience with TrueBeam and ARIA also accepted
  • Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
  • Professional references required
