Description
Start Date: June 30, 2026
Location: Orange, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (typically 0800-1630), no weekends or holidays required
Highlights:
- Magnet-designated acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds
- PET/CT scanning experience preferred, with on-site training available
- General nuclear medicine studies including bone, renal, cardiac, liver, and perfusion imaging
- Epic charting system in a modern outpatient center setting
- Daily census of 5-10 patients, up to 15 PET scans per day
- Optional call available for interested candidates (not required)
Requirements:
- Valid California State Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (must be active prior to start)
- NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Previous travel or contract experience required
- Proficiency in IV starts and maintenance
- Experience with bone scans, renal studies, perfusion imaging, and general nuclear medicine procedures
- Cardiac nuclear medicine experience preferred, especially for candidates interested in call shifts
