Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week, weekdays and rotating weekends, rotating holidays. Estimated patient ratio 1:3. Orientation includes 36 hours.

Highlights:

• Progressive Care Unit with diverse patient population including renal, hepatology, cardiology, pulmonology, and general medicine diagnoses
• Electronic Medical Record system: Epic experience required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and Lift Teams
• Advanced skills utilization including heparin and insulin drip management, telemetry monitoring, and specialty equipment
• 24-bed unit with modern equipment including lift equipment, IV ultrasound machines, bladder scanners, and bedside cardiac monitors
• Contract includes pre-approved time off options and flexibility for local and travel candidates

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Valid Compact or Ohio RN license required at time of submission
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Previous travel experience preferred; charge experience preferred
• Willingness to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity level as needed
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or formal leadership position
