Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN – Ohio

Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Variable shifts including days/evenings, 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts. Call coverage required Monday-Friday 9:00 PM - 6:30 AM, and Saturday-Sunday 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 6:30 AM. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required based on unit needs.

Highlights:

• Level 1 Trauma Center with 18-bed Operating Room performing 45-50 surgical procedures daily
• Diverse case mix including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant procedures
• Primary focus on circulating for Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• 13-week assignment with structured orientation and interdisciplinary team support

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license) in hand at time of submission
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required (at least 1 from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Ability to complete urgent fingerprinting requirements for Ohio compliance
