Location: San Antonio, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12.5-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends, 36 hours guaranteed per week

Highlights:

• Work in a well-established Surgical Intensive Care Unit within a premier medical center with over 50 years of excellence
• Care for critically ill patients requiring advanced interventions including chest tubes, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, CRRT, and IABP
• 13 or 26-week assignment length with stable scheduling and no call requirements
• Documentation via Meditech EMR system
• Opportunity to work within a faith-based organization committed to patient-focused care and serving the community
• Float responsibilities in accordance with facility policy

Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Preferred: MICU and MSICU background, IABP and CRRT exposure, Meditech experience
