Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN – Ohio

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Variable shifts including days and evenings (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts). Call coverage required Monday-Friday 9:00 PM – 6:30 AM, and Saturday-Sunday 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 6:30 AM. Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs.

Highlights:

• Level 1 Trauma Center with 18-bed Operating Room performing 45-50 surgical procedures daily
• Diverse surgical case mix including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant surgeries
• Primary focus on circulating for Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases
• EPIC charting system
• 13-week assignment with three weekend shifts required per contract period
• One pre-approved time off period available

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred
• Must have proficiency in Ophthalmology and Liver Transplant procedures
• Must have experience in at least 2 of the following 3 specialty areas: Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, or Robotic Surgery
• Current BLS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Valid Compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of application
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references from formal leadership (manager, director, or charge nurse)
