Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist – Ohio

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, Night Shift. Weekdays and some weekends. May be required to float to other areas at facility discretion.

Highlights:

• Work in a large academic medical center environment with diverse patient populations including adults and geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:4, allowing for focused, quality care
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with GE and Hamilton ventilators preferred
• Opportunity to work in Med/Surg floors and Progressive Care Unit settings
• Treat a variety of respiratory conditions including COPD, Asthma, and Cancer patients

Requirements:

• Active Ohio State Respiratory Therapy License (must be in hand at time of application)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with adult critical care, mechanical ventilation, BiPAP/CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and arterial blood gas interpretation
• High school diploma and college transcripts from an accredited program required
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director
